On the 6–13th of April 2019, Prof. Dr. Raimonda Ragauskienė visited Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. At the Centre for Baltic Studies of the Institute of Slavonic and Baltic Philology she delivered lectures on historical relations of Lithuania and Hungary.
PROF. DR. KRISTINA RUTKOVSKA’S VISIT TO UNIVERSITY OF WROCLAW
On the 16–20th of April 2019, Professor Dr. Kristina Rutkovska, The Institute for the Languages and Cultures of the Baltic at Vilnius University, visited the Centre for the Lithuanian Language and Culture Studies at the University of Wroclaw. She delivered a series of lectures on research into Lithuanian values.
TEACHERS’ FROM EDUCATION ACADEMY OF VYTAUTAS MAGNUS UNIVERSITY VISIT TO UNIVERSITY OF HELSINKI
On the 14–20th of April 2019, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ona Petrėnienė and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jurga Trimonytė-Bikelienė from Education Academy of Vytautas Magnus University visited University of Helsinki. The university teachers delivered lectures to students and also presented Easter traditions in Lithuania.
PROF. DR. GINTAUTAS KUNDROTAS’S VISIT TO THE CENTRE FOR BALTIC STUDIES AT LOMONOSOV MOSCOW STATE UNIVERSITY
On the 14–20th of April 2019, Prof. Dr. Gintautas Kundrotas from Education Academy of Vytautas Magnus University visited the Centre for Baltic Studies at Lomonosov Moscow State University. The professor delivered a series of lectures on segmental and suprasegmental units of the Lithuanian language. He also had seminars with students on the Lithuanian language usage and pronunciation.
PROF. DR. DAINIUS VAITIEKŪNAS’S VISIT TO NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR ORIENTAL LANGUAGES AND CIVILIZATIONS (INALCO) IN PARIS
On the 14–20th of April 2019, Prof. Dr. Dainius Vaitiekūnas from Education Academy of Vytautas Magnus University visited National Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilizations (IINALCO) in Paris (France). The professor delivered a series of lectures to students.
KRISTINA VAISVILAVIČIENĖ FROM VYTAUTAS MAGNUS UNIVERSITY VISITING REZEKNE ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGIES
On 7–14 April, Kristina Vaisvalavičienė, a doctoral student working at the Centre of Letonics at Vytautas Magnus University, was visiting the Faculty of Education, Languages and Design at Rezekne Academy of Technologies. She delivered lectures on Lithuanian children’s literature, presented the main researchers of this study field, their main works and publications. Students were provided with information on children’s books translations from the Lithuanian to the Latvian language. K. Vaisvilavičienė also presented the project „Baltų literatūros savaitė“ (Baltic Literature Week) that has been implemented in Lithuanian and Latvian schools, and discussed the possibilities of further cooperation.
DR. JOANNA TABOR’S FROM UNIVERSITY OF WARSAW VISIT TO LITHUANIA
From the 31st of March to the 7th of April 2019, Dr. Joanna Tabor, Head of the Department of General, Eastern Asia Comparative Linguistics and Baltic Studies at University of Warsaw visited Vilnius University and the Institute of Lithuanian Literature and Folklore. During her research visit, Dr. Joanna Tabor worked in libraries and had meetings with colleagues.

On the 24th–30th of March 2019, the representative of the Centre for Baltic Studies of Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay Prof. Dr. Marzhan Tajiyeva visited Education Academy of Vytautas Magnus University. Prof. Dr. Marzhan Tajiyeva attended Education Academy teachers’ lectures, shared with colleagues experience of teaching the Lithuanian language to foreign students and discussed prospects of further cooperation between Education Academy and the Centre for Baltic Studies.
