On the 19th–25th of March 2018, Dr. Gintarė Judžentytė, a lecturer from the Department of  Lithuanian Language at Vilnius University, visited the Centre for Baltic Studies at the University of Helsinki where she delivered a series of lectures “The Origin and Development of the Lithuanian Language“ in English and “The Beginning of Lithuanian Writings (Conditions for the Usage of the Lithuanian Language in Prussia and the Great Duchy of Lithuania at the Initial Stage of the Formation of Writings”) in Lithuanian.
