On 7–14 April, Kristina Vaisvalavičienė, a doctoral student working at the Centre of Letonics at Vytautas Magnus University, was visiting the Faculty of Education, Languages and Design at Rezekne Academy of Technologies. She delivered lectures on Lithuanian children’s literature, presented the main researchers of this study field, their main works and publications. Students were provided with information on children’s books translations from the Lithuanian to the Latvian language. K. Vaisvilavičienė also presented the project „Baltų literatūros savaitė“ (Baltic Literature Week) that has been implemented in Lithuanian and Latvian schools, and discussed the possibilities of further cooperation.
