On November 21-28, Auksė Noreikaitė, a lecturer and ethnologist at Vytautas Magnus University, was visiting the Faculty of Education, Languages and Design at Rezekne Academy of Technologies. She delivered lectures on “Relations between Lithuanians and Latvians on the border between Lithuania and Latvia” and “Ways of expressing Lithuanian ethnic identity on the border between Lithuania and Latvia”. She also talked about the traditions of Christmas Eve in Lithuania and Latgale. Auksė Noreikaitė also met with lecturers from Rezekne Academy of Technologies to discuss important issues in the field of Lithuanian studies.
